Trip Information
About Curling
We will first be going to the Parksville Curling Club. Curling is a sport that started in 16th-century Scotland and was very different from how the game is played today. Curling played today is a team sport where you try and toss the rocks down the ice so they hit the center of the bullseye or in curling terms, the button. Then your teammate tries to sweep to smooth the ice leading the rock to its place. This is one of Canada's favorite sports that is a fun, unique game everyone can enjoy.
